How useful is reading for students? Everyday I read articles, books or simply instructions on different themes, so my life is directly connected with reading and today I want to speak about its influence.
It’s rather common to consider that reading developed our language and speach. I agree with this opinion. During reading we keep in mind words and phrases unconsciously and at the moment remember them.
Personally I think that reading is many-sided activity. We get a lot of valuable life experience from books. Many of situations that we go through with plot characters can happen in reality. And because of reading we already know how to get on problems in real life.
All in all, reading is a powerful layer. It saves unique texts, exclusive information and thoughts, that we can get and feel. It’s so amazing and useful for students.

    Reading in students' life
The problem of reading has been actual for all times. Some people say, that reading is important, some say, that people don't need to read anymore. I think, that reading is extremely important. As a student, I read almost every day, because I always need to find information for my studies. Sometimes I can't find it in the Internet and I search it in the books. Some of our lecturers make us finding information by ourselves, in order to teach us analyzing the given information and choose what's necessary and what's not. Reading also improves our writing and reading skills. Students often need to write essays and reports, give speeches at the conferences, that's why our vocabulary is to be great. But we read not only for our studies. It also helps us to relax, reduce stress and feel free.
All in all, reading is very important in our life.

Students, who read more, develop a broader vocabulary, increased general knowledge and a better understanding of other culture.
Also reading learns to listen. Lack of listening skills can result in misunderstanding.

  6. If you are student you have to study hard for successful study and high scores and you don’t have enough free time for rest or hobbies, such as reading. Anyway, reading is very important in my life because of two reasons. First of all, reading is one of the part of learning, without reading I don’t get all the information I need. Also reading develops writing skills and vocabulary. Secondly, exams, classwork or homework make me tired, that’s why I have to relax sometimes. Books allow me to develop imagination and delve into stories written by autors I like. I also like to read a short articles on the Internet on topics I interest in.
After all, I can say that reading plays an important role in my life because it helps me study and relax after student’s everyday life.

  8. The role of Reading in Students' Life
In my opinion, reading in students’ life is very important.First of all,we use books to study and to learn new information for our classes.Of course we have internet nowadays but sometimes the “old-school “ way with turning pages and highlighting something in the paper is just more convenient.Secondly, many students use reading for relaxing after a hard day of studying, and then they probably prefer some light literature like novels. And of course we shouldn’t forget that students are in the age when they’re open to many new different things and when their opinions are being formed, that’s why it is important to read and to learn about various points of views on some problems and questions.

Reading is one of the most often used source of knowledge for students. Variety of scientific books, journals and magazines is necessary for acquiring enough knowledge in any field of studies. Some students say that reading may be too time-consuming and tiring. Nevertheless reading offers structured blocks of information divided in chapters. Such system allows to process information more quickly and efficient as the brain divides it by its importance and structure the theme as a whole. It all results in better ability to concentrate and process large amounts of information.
In addition, reading also can be therapeutic as it has a great stress release value.
Even though studying process and lifestyle in general are constantly changing and new ways of obtaining information are developing, reading has no fulfilling alternatives for studying and relaxing.

  14. Reading plays a significant role in students’ life. Books are full of knowledge, life experience and vital lessons. Books improve our vocabulary and communication skills. We can learn new languages or dialects and improve our native language; also, books stimulate creativity and imagination. For reading we need to be focused for a long time and concentrate our minds. Every fully fledged specialist should read books, articles or reference books. Undoubtedly, reading is a good habit and I am sure that a many people would agree. Nevertheless, we should keep in mind that it works only with books that are wholesome reading.

  23. Most people agree that reading and writing are essential skills to our lives as it provides us the opportunity to gain knowledge through learning information about the world around us as well as improve our writing skills.

Reading helps for student get information about events, places and other people. It also enriches our vocabulary; we are able to learn new words or new terminology; improves grammar and spelling and from that we learn writing skills. Furthermore, through reading, people understand writer’s ideas, what he/she is thinking, feeling and are concerned about. Readers have better understanding, analysing, evaluating and summarising information skills as they read more.

Writing also enriches student’s vocabulary, improves their ability in using and arranging sentence structure while writing. How was saying the great W. Sheekspire “Writing improves the effectiveness of the person’s word usage in both written and oral speech”

It is essential in developing reading and writing skills as it is necessary for our lives and is a useful tool for people’s cognitive development in contemporary society.

  25. The role of Reading in Students' Life.
I think that reading in students’ life takes one of the main roles in studying process. I am a student and I can say that I read articles or books that helps me to know something new about subject that I study every day. So reading is essential part of studying at university. Nowadays students almost do not use libraries for reading, because it is more convenient to use e-books. It doesn’t take up much space in your bag and you always have books in your pocket. So I can read some paragraphs when I take the metro.
I can’t imagine studying at university without reading, because lectures is not enough at all to understand the subject. Only reading books you can fully understand all the difficulties of the subject and pass the exam perfectly.
To sum up, I think reading is very important part in students’ life.

  34. I want to tell you about reading in my life. Reading plays a very important role in the life of people. I'm fond of reading. In my opinion, books are a source of emotional inspiration and romantic feelings. Reading is very useful, because books enrich our experience with that or the other people. Besides, books help me to continue my own education. The world of books is full of wonders. Reading books you can find, yourself in different lands, countries, islands, seas, oceans. We enjoy the beauty and wisdom of books which teach us to be kind and clever, brave and honesty to understand other people. People are fond of reading different kinds of books. There are books of different genres: love and detective stories, thrillers and historical novels, tales, works after classical and modern writers. Fairy tales are enjoyed and read by children, books about adventures and journeys are enjoyed by those who are fond of travelling. Legends and myths are read by those who are fond of history. I'm a great lover of the English and American literature. Among my favourite writers are W. Shakespeare and Ch. Dickens. Books help us to be good friends. They teach us to understand the beauty of nature, to take care of it, to love our homeland. I read books Russian and Belarusian writers too.
I can't imagine my life without reading. You can find all kinds of books at the library. Every school in our country has a library. A school library is a collection of textbooks and books for reading. Our pupils and teachers go for reading, to look some magazines or newspapers or to prepare for a report.
Books teach us what is right and what is wrong, to understand the world and people in it. It educates a person, enriches his intellect.

Reading is something that can be a very pleasant hobby and useful in study and work at the same time. And if you are somewhat decent at multireading, it’s very productive to read some boring documentation and books related to your job and also read some fiction book to entertain ourselves. Reading have become even more available for us now, than it was in previous centuries. Because our phones and readers can contain in themselves whole classics of world literature and “War and Peace” by Leo Tolstoy takes less phone memory than our regular selfies.
